Tap "Add food" at the bottom of the screen to slide up meals, frequent foods, search and the barcode scanner. It stays open while you add several items, and shows how many calories you have left.
Search or tap a category, then tap a food to add it to today's log. You can add up to 5 categories of your own — either under "Your categories" in this menu, or by choosing "+ New category" in the custom food form.
Log a meal you eat often, tap "Save as meal", and name it — after that one tap adds the whole thing. Meals follow the current version of each food, so editing a food updates its meals too. Tap the ⓘ on a meal chip to see what's inside before adding it, or × to remove the meal (you'll be asked to confirm — the foods themselves aren't affected).
Tap the barcode icon to scan a packet — it looks the product up and adds it straight to your log. If it isn't found, tap "Add it manually" to save it once; scanning that packet again will then find it instantly.
If a food isn't built in, searching also looks it up online in Open Food Facts — results are marked "online" and add just like any other food.
Online results are prioritised for your region (set under "Food search region" in this menu), falling back to a global search if nothing matches locally.
Tap the ⓘ icon on any food to see its full nutrition facts — in today's log it shows the totals for the amount you logged.
Searched for something that isn't there? The button below the list becomes "Add 'your search' as custom food" and carries the name straight into the form.
Use "+ Add custom food" for anything not in the list — "Auto-fill nutrition" can pull in the numbers, and the category is suggested from the name (you can always change it). Your half-finished entry is kept if you leave to look something up.
Tap the pencil on a custom food to edit it later, or the trash icon to remove it — you'll be asked to confirm first.
Adjust quantities with +/− in today's log — it steps in halves below 2 servings. Tap the number to type any amount (e.g. 0.25), or tap × to remove an item.
Set a daily goal — the bar under your total shows progress, in red once you're over.
Tap the × on a Frequent chip to remove it from that list — the food itself isn't affected, and you can tap Undo if it was a mistake.
Your daily protein, carbs, and fat totals show under the calorie total — tap "more" for fiber, sugar, and sodium. Foods marked "cal only" have no macro data, so they don't count toward those totals.
Check the History section for intake vs. goal over any date range, including a trend line. Use the Calories / Protein / Carbs / Fat chips to chart a macro instead, or "More" for fiber, sugar and sodium.
Log your weight whenever you weigh yourself — it overlays on the History chart, and the Weight card shows the change since your last weigh-in plus your overall progress since the first one.
Set "Remind every ___ days" on the Weight card to get a note here whenever you're overdue for a weigh-in.
Use "Print / Save PDF" under History to export the selected date range as a shareable report.
Use "Share chart" to save or send a quick image snapshot of the chart itself.
